Newly ordained Deacon David Hammond blessed the Quilts of Valor on Sunday, May 31st, 2009, feast of the Pentecost. This was his very first blessing. He was ordained the day before this, and in one year he will be ordained as a priest and be commissioned as a Chaplain in the US Navy.
